Cloning - again

The first clone ever, Dolly, started a new revolution in humankind - The war to see who could become god (no capital G yet).

Humans have become so advanced
that DNA is now a new toy on science lab shelves. It is amazing how far
humans would play around with genetics, to create beings without a
soul. Playing god... that's what they call it. Colning shouldn't even
be an issue. It shouldn't even be discussed, because it shouldn't exist
in the first place. It is human foolishness at its best.

I am amazed at how far
technology has gone, and looking back in the past ten... (more)

DROP THE PINK ELEPHANT

A 'Pink Elephant' is an oratory phenomena, and rhetorical error. The
speaker denies something without yet being accused of it. This invites
the audience to draw the link between the speaker and that which is
being denied - a link they might not have drawn otherwise. The speaker
thus effectively accuses themselves. For example, when a person is
asked where they got particularly expensive jacket and they respond, 'I
definitely didn't steal it'. Another example is Richard Nixon's
well-known disavowal regarding the Watergate scandal, 'I am not a
crook'.My close friends would know that... (more)

I am actually not sure how the topic changed into Global Warming that night when we were at this little cafe having our little servings of fancy cakes that cost 3 times their sizes. We were talking about Hendry's work, then talked about the recent windy weather, then, AHA! Yeah, we were talking about the weather, when Hendry started the whole discussion about Global Warming.

It got me thinking though. Global Warming? I've heard that term over and over again, in Science class, on TV, almost everywhere come to think of it. What was weird, was that it never struck me how severe it has... (more)

The good you find in others, is in you too.The faults you find in others, are your faults as well. After all, to recognize something you must know it.The possibilities you see in others, are possible for you as well. The beauty you see around you, is your beauty. The world around you is a reflection, a mirror showing you the person you are.To change your world, you must change yourself. To blame and complain will only make matters worse.Whatever you care about, is your responsibility. What you see in others, shows you yourself.See the best in others, and you will be your best.Give to others, and...
